Ansat — light multipurpose helicopter developed by the design Bureau of JSC “Kazan helicopter plant”. The first prototype of the helicopter was assembled in April 2004. The Ansat helicopter can carry 1300 pounds of payload in the cabin.
Ansat is translated from the Tatar language means “simple”, “simple”.

The Ansat is powered by two turboshaft engines PW 207K capacity of 630 HP Pratt & Whitney Canada c digital engine control system (FADEC), providing a continued takeoff with one engine failed.
Flight navigation system and on-Board equipment of the helicopter “Ansat” include on-Board information system, multi-function indicators and warning system about the failure.
In “Ansate” applied all-metal fuselage design, composite materials in non-force elements and fiberglass blades. The hingeless main rotor hub provides a high level of manageability and significant reduction in operating costs.
